Commodities Trading

Institutional-Grade Commodity Access

Innekto Incorporated provides qualified institutional counterparties with structured access to premium commodity categories, underpinned by rigorous risk management and certified supply chains.

Strategy Overview

Risk-Managed Commodity Exposure Across Three Verticals

Innekto Incorporated's commodities practice operates across three distinct categories: precious metals (gold, silver, platinum, and palladium), specialty essential oils (oud and sandalwood), and premium agricultural commodities (principally high-grade wheat flour).

Each category is selected based on structural supply constraints, demonstrable institutional demand, and the availability of yield-generating strategies appropriate for qualified counterparties. Our trading activities are supported by a proprietary risk framework incorporating market, credit, operational, and logistics risk assessments.

We offer structured offtake arrangements, forward purchase agreements, and yield strategies designed for institutional participants. All strategies are subject to market conditions and counterparty qualification requirements. Target returns referenced in transaction materials are indicative projections only and are not guaranteed.

Risk Management

Institutional Risk Framework

Market Risk

Price exposure is managed through a combination of natural hedges, forward contracts, and options overlays appropriate to each commodity category. Portfolio-level Value-at-Risk metrics are monitored on a daily basis.

Credit & Counterparty Risk

All counterparties are subject to rigorous KYC, credit assessment, and ongoing monitoring. Concentration limits and collateral requirements are applied in accordance with the firm's risk policy framework.

Operational & Logistics Risk

Physical commodity operations incorporate multi-custodian storage, independent inspection, and insured logistics. Approved warehouse and transit facilities are subject to regular audit.

Liquidity Risk

Commodity strategies are structured with appropriate liquidity parameters for each instrument. Structured instruments include lock-up and notice provisions aligned with the underlying commodity's liquidity profile.

Regulatory Compliance

Commodity trading activities are conducted in compliance with applicable jurisdiction requirements. The firm maintains compliance monitoring, AML/CFT controls, and regulatory reporting processes.

Supply Chain Integrity

Certified origin documentation, chain-of-custody protocols, and third-party quality assurance are applied across all physical commodity categories to protect supply chain integrity.
